REPRODUCTION H.O. SCALE 500 AXLES.  THESE AXLES CAN BE USED FOR THE FRONT AND REAR.
DETAILS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
This axle is an exact copy of the original Aurora AFX and G-Plus rear axle.
The spline pattern and length exactly matches the original Aurora axle.
They are made from 1/16" (.0625") stock 1018 steel and extra insistance was placed on making sure they are straight.
The splined areas on original Aurora axles can vary widely, probably due to both manufacturing tolerances and when they were made.
The splined areas on these axles can vary in diameter from .0625" to about .0635" depending on how aggresive the splines were cut on a particular axle; a variation of approximately 1.6%.
This axle was used on later AFX chassis, the G-Plus and all the Super Magnatraction variations.
I'm guessing Aurora switched the AFX to this axle once the stock ran out on the long T-Jet axles.
The two long axles are identical except for the splines on the end.
One axle has splines all the way to the end (long T-Jet) while this axle has a smooth area at the tips.
There is probably no real difference between these two long axles.
This axle can be used on all T-Jet, AFX, G-Plus, Super-Magnatraction variations and X-Traction style chassis including Aurora, Johnny Lightning, Auto World and Dash.
It can also be used as the rear axle on Tomy Turbo, SRT and Super G+ chassis.
