The L SCAN™ 100 scanner is a robust and cost efficient solution for public authentication tasks such as door access visa application checking (consulates) border control (immigration) inmate handling (prison) and background checks (job applicants). It has been designed to meet the resolution requirements of the Image Quality Specification (IQS) of the FBI's Electronic Fingerprint Transmission Specification (EFTS). It is the first scanner which has been certified by BSI for German e-passports, according to BSI-TR 03103, Appendix TR-PDÜ-QS-Finger.
